I think you are a good candidate for either to be honest. I mentioned the 7's simply because you are a nitrous car, and that means you won't be under constant pressure like a blower or turbo setup

I'm running a similar setup with a 416 also execpt it's 11.2 comp. I was advised by nitrous outlet and others to run a BR7. I will gap around .032 to start. Gonna spray up to 150 but am starting small

What plug do you run now? How does the strap look after a fresh set of plugs and shutting it off at the finish?

I have a 13-1 418ci and need an 8 on motor alone.

Pretty sure the plug now is a tr6 .
Motor is about 10.1 compression . Never really check the plugs while on motor . Car a is a daily driver and don't race it too often .

Go read your current plug after a pass. If you don't know if the current plug is right for the motor, you won't know if one step cooler will be ok on the bottle. You might need a 7 for motor and a 8 for the bottle.

The time in my sig was with a 57n jet spraying at the 60' and lifting soon after the 1/8. You are correct, I was out of gear.

Will I still need to read plugs even after I get a dyno tune with the nitrous ?

I would check them periodically even after your tune

Hole point of reading the plugs is to find out if ur running rich , lean , or hot right ?

If I get a tune were the Afr is monitored and safe plugs don't have to be pulled and checked every run right ?

A little peace of mind goes a long way. Check the plugs periodically.

In my book this is a no-no. Tune the nitrous at the track, not on a dyno. Dyno is not going to load the drivetrain like the weight of the car is.

Well then the tune will be pointless and I would be better off running track passes to get it dialed in ?
