i searched i swear, max NX on ls3 rockers So normally I would ask on a truck site, but I have ls3 heads and that your guys expertise, im wanting to know the most someone has sprayed on stock ls3 rockers (823s), I sprayed 200 on my stock 5.3 rockers for years wanting to know if anyone has went over that looking to go 250-300. thanks guys.

we have had 400+ on stock heads and rockers plenty of time. At some point you will reach an rpm limit where the spring can't keep up with big nitrous and it will try to backfire thru the intake. at that point solid roller will be needed. There is not a magic number but it seems to be around 1000 rwhp and 7500rpm but depends on how good your springs are.

Is it a function of spring or complete valve train causing it to loose control. IE a lighter valve and retainer combo might be ok with less spring compared to a heavy valve and retainer requiring a heavier spring?
Obviously better spring and lighter valve train is the best bet.
