Help !!!stock blok big shot
I need help, I'm going to put a 250 shot on my stock engine and I want to do it the right way, my mods are:
Camaro 2000 70k miles
243 heads milled .020
Tr224 cam
Texas speed pushrods
Ls6 intake
Long headers , true duals pipe
Intake lid
10 bolts whit 4.10 gears
The selenoids are edelbrock rpm And the nozzle is a nos fogger2
I have a custom dedicated fuel cell And a holley blue fuel pump whit regulador set @ 7 psi And c16 gas.
I have hp tuners, and i can adjust the timming.
my questions are
I can use my solenoid and injector for a 250 shot??
What plugs and gap i need for 250 shot
What else i need
The 81 nitrous jet are for 250 shot??

i think your gonna need bigger solenoids and a bigger nozzle.. might want to shell out the money for a plate if you have it. your gonna need a slightly bigger jet too and at least some b8efs ngk's gapped .030-.035

My question is, what are you trying to do?
A nozzle would not be ideal to spray a large amount of nos. It just wouldn't get to the cylinders in any kind of equal way to be safe or to get the bang you would expect.
I would think with not knowing much about nos you should start with a little less especially if you have never sprayed before.
150 I feel would be ok but others may have different opinions because I have never used a nozzle unless it was a direct port kit.

I currently use this kit with 150 hp, taking the fuel from the rail with autolite 103 spark plugs, and Run great, but i want to inject 250 shot, edelbrock says the selenoids flow 300 hp,

Do you know the orifice size of your solenoids? We have a guy spraying 250 out of a nozzle, stock 5.3 with a cam. Works well for him. You may max out your solenoids if they are too small, usually most nozzles are good up to 200-250 or so. Some of the smaller solenoids won't do quite 250.

ive sprayed a 250 through a nozzle on my 5.3.. i have the ny-trex nozzle that claims to be good to 300hp. my solenoids have a monster orifice inside they are rated to 400+, -6 feed line, you just have to get the right equipment or your gonna foul something up. my next step is to uprgrade the nitrous nozzle line to a -4 seeing as im prolly not getting a solid 250 hit with the -3an.
