Default Nitrous LT1

Ive read over the "best kits" for LT1s tens of times, and who prefers wet vs dry. My current setup has a new 255 lph fuel pump with hot wire kit, fuel pressure gauge, afr gauge... basically almost all the monitoring equipment to watch how my motor will respond to nitrous. The dilemma, is wet or dry. I would prefer to stick with ZEX due to all the excess ZEX parts purchased as well as many friends first hand experiences with the dry shot on their LT1's. The car is just basic bolt ons, and soon to have 3.90s installed. Is this a good way to go about being safe about 100-150 shot or no? I do plan to pull some timing for the 150 shot.

On the LT1's like yours, we prefer to use a simple wet system. You can put either a single nozzle or our MAF plate system on there. Either will work fine. You can run up to a 150 no problem on stock configuration, with 93 octane fuel as a minimum. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I can vouch first hand, the NX kit flat out works! Before i had any real mods done on my 96Z28 i had my shark kit set on 150, NGKtr55 gapped at .032" my 6spd car on 18" F1 goodyears would run 13.9-14.2 launching at 1500 to avoid spinning once the car would bog down a bit i could full throttle it and hit the button. At this point i was consistently in the 12.6 range. I added headers, full exhaust and a new clutch oem style....that put me in the 12.26 area so i figured its time to add 1.6 rockers, 4.10 gears, sfc,160°stat, aluminum driveshaft,Ls1 air lid(SLP), madtuner tune . I ran 13.5 and destroyed the clutch! Like most i warranteed my clutch after an hour explaining how stock my car was......
Next track visit i opened a fresh bottle , bolted on the dragradials and sprayed my way to an 11.39/ 11.36/then the best pass 11.33 now, mind you due to the tune i had and the 4.10 gears i did not have the NX activated in 4th gear at all hence my 117mph trap speed it should have been 120-122.. VERY HAPPY NX CUSTOMER since the beginning my thanks goes to a long time friend the late John Stewart and of course Mike Wood for an AWESOME product.

LT1 = wet system

Single nozzle of the MAF system are pretty much the same thing. For best results (and looks) I would recommend the Nitrous Outlet plate system.
