Cool Dual stage bottle requirement

Dual stage bottle requirement

Can a 15 pounder supply a dual stage dry/wet?
If so what parts are required to run 2 N2O lines out of 1 bottle?

Plan is to run Stage 1 dry (75rwhp shot) + stage 2 wet (75 rwhp shot); for a total of 150 rwhp dry/wet

You can run a dual stage out of a 10 as well. You just use a Y connector in the line to split it.

Why do you want 2 stages? I might be able to justify that if you had an M6 and were racing on Nitto's or something, but your sig says you're an A4 on M/T ET Streets. You should be able to spray that 150 shot right out of the hole with that setup.

With my current set up yes.

But over the next 3 months, my motor is gonna go through serious steriod mutations. I would say in the neighbourhood of 420 rwhp N/A. with a SS 4000. So launch will be a bit more demanding. My goal is 600 rwhp on juice (While limiting the juice as much as possible.)

I need to be in solid 10's by September.

Fire out of the hole then if it's a street/strip car and you're going for track times. The dual stage wouldn't even be worth it IMO.

So what you're saying, I'll be better off converting my NOS to wet and shoot 150 straight up?

Pretty much. There are a lot of cars that are completely capable of running a setup like this and getting into the 10's. You don't need two stages at all, you'll be quite surprised.

I'm running 2 stages off a 10lb bottle, with a y-fitting near the solenoids. My only problem is that I have to refill so often lol.

I like the dual stage thing, much easyer on equipment (but maybe not fast enough?). But if you stay single stage why not go to 36lb injectors and leave your current set-up the same.

That is what I'll probably start with.
30 pounders FORD (Flow like 36lbs with our high pressure systems), a walbro/or Holley 255 intank and I ordered the NX conversion kit.
I will do that before H/C (224/228, 0.5xx/0.5xx 113lsa XE-R), with 5.3's stage II race.
