Default New cam is working out quite well.

Thanks Martin! Everytime I go to the track, the car goes a little faster.
It is clearly faster than the old cam. With this new cam it will run these numbers all day long.

9.62

9.66; ignore the shift light please. needs a reset

Its hard to beat the consistency of an auto especially if it spends a lot of its life at the strip.

Great hits Paul!!!

Glad the new cam is working so well. It sounds like it accelerates through the RPM range extremely quickly. Like you said, it almost catches you off guard how fast it continues to rev even up to the shift point.

When you're spraying as much as you are, that earlier opening exhaust event is much needed.

Thanks. Like you said before, the area of the curve where we gained all that power is showing up at the track. These are repeatable times, so while these are good times, the best is yet to come.

Now it's time to put that transmission plan into action we discussed earlier.

Can you say 8.99@150 with a 200 shot and a 416? I can!

That is very nice my combo before the winter upgrades was very similar to yours now.

427, TFS 235's, 10.7:1 CR, Fast 102/102, YT RR, 1 7/8 Kooks but in a 01 Camaro with a TH400 it went 8.83 best e.t and 149 best mph.

Do you care to share the old and new cam specs?
