Default 10 micron, 40 micron 100 micron ??? filter

I have a 1 gallon standalone for my nitrous setup and want to install a filter coming out of the cell and then going to my inline pump. Its 8an size. Now what size filter do I use as I see all these different sizes. Does it matter? Was going to buy a 40 micron filter but just not sure. My cell has foam in it and I can imagine one day this stuff crumbling apart and clogging my fuel solenoid and then BOOM!

The smaller the micron rating, the smaller the pores are going to be, and ultimately the more the filter will be able to catch. I would just run a 10 micron and be done with it. Your probably going to be putting race fuel out of a can in your standalone, which is very refined compared to your standard pump gas. It shouldn't have near as much if any sediment like the stuff you can get from pumps.
