Default who has the best progressive controller....

200 TNT shot on my 436 stroker.

I have the system, I need to buy the controller and another solenoid so I can have dual solenoids.

Thanks.

Oh, one more question.

Does the controller have the ability to be easily and quickly reset to only spray up to say 30%, 40%, 50%, 80% or whatever of its max of 200?

So if I go driving around I can only have say a 100 shot take place?

Thanks.

I have the Old NX Maximizer and I love it, No complaints with it at all.

You can set initial delay by tenths of a second, start percentage fron 0% to 100% in 5% incerments, ramp up time by tenths of a second. If your on street tires it also has a feature where after every gear change it can start over but only 10% higher on the start percentage ex: launch 20%, 2nd gear 30%, 3rd 40%, 4th 50%.

The changes are also very easy, I have the box mounted next to the drivers seat where the ABS box was. It problably only take 30-60 sec to make a new program, and you can save differant programs. You don't need any tools or computers to do it just your finger.

Oh yea you could hold at, say 50% of max. But thats real hard on solnoids, if you do that you'll be replacing solnoids often.

Where do I buy this?

How much?

How much are selonids?

How often will they go bad, I plan to only spray like once or twice a week at most. I also want to use double selonids in case one sticks open.

Here's the link to the controller http://www.nitrodaves.com/outlet/pro...=11&section=24

I can't find the exact price on the soleniods but they were about $125 a peice.

The problem with not running your system at 100% with a progressive controller is that it pulses the noids open and closed very fast. Which in time will mushroom over the plunger and cause it to stick. Its Pretty much like hitting it with a hammer hunderds of times every time you use it.

Not sure how often you would have to replace them but it was recommended to me to rebuild or replace them every season. And I'm only pulsing the noids for .4-.8 tenths of a second every 1/4 mile pass. So in other words don't do it!

So if I want to run at less than the max shot for say 10-12 seconds, the noids will be pulsing the whole 10-12 seconds? So I'll be replacing them every couple months eh?

Damn, there's no perfect system.

Actually,
No NXs solenoids are built to take the beating. You will not have to worry about that.

arent' nx and tnt noids both the same?

i know nx gets some extra engraving on theirs, and they back them with a lifetime warranty (provided no scorching)

Ive had a old NOS one and loved it. I then bought bad *** Schnitz Controller. I never got it hooked up but I sold it to Big RIck and he used it at the SBSO last year on his 9 sec ride.

What happens if one fails during a run?

Is having two noids safer?

I had the NOS progressive controller and after about 15 runs, the ramp controller fried. I now have a $320 paperweight. And NOS won't even try to fix it. I'll be buying a NX maximizer next time...
