No doubt, the Power Ring is the coolest looking N20 setup out there.

I had the fernco waiting in the wings if i couldn't get the SLP to work...
It actually ended up working pretty good...Much easier than trying to fit that thick rubber fernco...but I think the fernco will give a bit more support....the SLP worked good but it is thin, the mass air may stay-in better w/ the fernco... I am going to rock the SLP for a day or two if it doesn't rain and see how it works....

I have that same power ring and ordered mine as the conversion kit about 6 weeks ago. I like it alittle better than the purple. I had it all planned to polish the purple off and then when I opened the kit up there was the polished ring.

I think they are switching all the new power rings to a regular polished finished. I got my conversion kit a couple of monthes ago and it's not purple. I like the polished look better myself.

If you do want to get the polished look with out having to sand it, go pick up some Castrol Super Clean (big purple jug) and let the power ring soak in it (check it every 15 minutes). It will strip off all the anodized purple then you can just hit it with some scotch bright pads, then some aluminum polish, then BLING your done.

to be honest with you, i think you're better off without the solenoid backet. yours looks very clean that way, but more importantly, you have easy access to change the jets. in mine, the passenger side gets a little annoying because the solenoids are in the way.

My car is a 2000 and my fuel solenoid actually hit my throttle body. It wouldn't let it close all the way. I had to angle the bracket up and it is still close. I like the way you mounted your solenoids and was actually thinking about changing it to your set up. And nce looking car Turo!
