Default dedicated tank setup

i got a new fuel pump and fuel pressure reg. that i bought for a sbc car. well im not gonna use it for that as i sold the motor. i wanted to see if i could use that for a dedicated tank setup for my ls3 vette. just make a low pressure fuel setup. but ive never messed with low pressure nitrous stuff. is it something i should stay away from and just sell my current stuff and buy new hi pressure

Should work just fine as long as you set it up as you stated above.

my setup on my vette atm is just intake and headers with turn downs. and 100 hit. hsw plate thats served me well for many years. just coming off the high flow holley fuel rails atm. but ill be putting in a a cam and fti 3200 nitrous converter very soon. gonna do a 150 shot until i can get a dedicated tank to run some good gas for the nitrous. just was curious if this would work

I mean I run high psi (55-58psi)... However the kit I have managed to install is for low psi.. (8-10psi) You just have to jet in accordance with PSI and fuel type. My E85 jets are going to be different than gasoline jetting at the same PSI. I'm sure you understand this. I would venture to say the Pro/Con list for high pressure vs low pressure is almost non existent as it's the same thing. (Seems this way to me) Now the dedicated sump will have it's pro's as it doesn't require the fuel to be delivered off the rails..starving injectors..yada yada yada. While a Con would be, where in the hell you plan on putting that sump lol

I would also say that if you had enough pump I would take 150 off the rails (current setup) all day.

ya i will on 150 im must scared of the quailty of gas around here . ya it will be pulled of the rails unless it goes lean and the pump wont hang with it. but it shouldnt be a problem on 150.
pump gas and 200 wont be ideal. i dont know where im gonna put the inline pump but i got a few big areas where i removed some stuff that was not needed lol.

It will work fine as a standalone unit. Alot of people run low pressure setups on EFI cars. Just make sure your jetting is for low pressure also.

low pressure gives you a finer tuning ability.
