Default best route to spray 200 to 300 shot

Greetings

Around here they dont want to spray a lot on plastic intakes because 7&8 pistons run lean.
Around 200 shot they swap to a victor jr and spray from a plate.

If I want to spray 200 TO 300 SHOT ON MY STOCK INTAKE should I go direct port, a plate designed fot TB or just swap to a single plane intake?

Thanks for your help

direct port is always safest. Plenty of us spray 300s on plates- a handful spray 250-300 on a SBE.

Good plugs, good tune, standalone with good fuel are a must.

Progressive controller helps. But be prepared: a 300 on a SBE engine isn't going to live forever.

There is plenty of people spraying 200-300 on a truck intake. If you put a direct port on a plastic intake, that is the safest as far a cylinder to cylinder distribution, and it gives you the ability to tune each cylinder. We did a direct port on a factory truck intake a couple weeks back, and we do a few plastic intakes every week.

No problem with spraying 300 on a plastic intake.

I know with our hidden spraybar, there is no problem spraying 200-300. You have a set of holes for each intake runner, so the distribution is great.

We had good luck with distribution on an ls6 intake up to a .093 jet but never went above that. Swapped to a super victor and went to a .036 jet on a fogger on SBE.
