Default 2004 Gto N20 setup/advice

Hey guys some of you may have read my post about my car blowing up, it was a head and cam set up all motor, with a t56. ported ls6 heads and cam is unknown due to it was installed when I got the car. I was going to do a iron block stroker but I came across a well kept almost new ls1 short block, with factory rods pistons and crank I nabbed for next to nothing that I will be putting back in. I want to throw a 100-150 shot at it, and wanted to see who makes a good kit for me to use, and if anyone has done a stock bottom end ls1 gto with a shot of nitrous, I would love to see results from it. Thanks guys

We make a really nice plate system for that application.

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/20935-...ut-bottle.html

(We also offer these in 4 bolt 90&102 configurations.)

This will be basically a bolt on application, that looks great, and performs even better. This is a complete system with everything to get started. Some accessories I would consider would be a bottle heater and a RPM window switch if you don't already have them.

I am here for any tech questions you may have also. In that aspect, I wouldn't have any problem spraying 150 on a stock bottom end LS1 block. We have sprayed 200 on a factory air filter stock LS1 before, without issue.

Thanks,
Garrett

Thanks Garrett, my main goal is for high tens out of the car, im hopeful that with the proper head and cam setup, tires, suspension I can get there. Im putting her on a diet so that will help ALOT. From what I have read, sweet spots for stock bottom ends is right around 150 shot.

Yep! I think that is a realistic goal for that setup, and perfectly attainable.

Throw in a good cam with those heads, get good compression, then hit it with a 150 shot and 10's are very doable
