Default fastest nitrous ls2/ls3 stock bottomend? VETTE

accourding to the vette forum i have the fastest stock bottomend nitrous car.
just on 150 shot atm. but will be doing a 200 at least soon.(out of fuel pump). first outting sprayin the whole pass. had 6 10.0 passes. car short shifting bad atm. 6000 to 1-2 and 5800 to 2-3. 3-4 is about right 6800. car made power all the way up to 66xx and started falling off. but anyway here is the passes

rolled thur the lights at the start or it would of been a better pass.

went 10.0 6x in a roll. at least its consistant. lol . all my buddys were like pull the passanger seat. i didnt want it like that tho. i wnated full weight

Don't know for sure, but there are a couple local sbe c5's that have been that to the 1/8th.

As far as SBE cars I haven't seen many, if any in the 9's so you might be up there. I wish I would have sprayed mine...

Hmmm... What is your question exactly? My LS1 SBE ran a 6.47 (No quarter mile passes yet) on a "smaller" (125) shot.

u can hear mine short shifting. once i get a few things lined out and go to the faster local track. i think this thing will do some 9.8 if not faster. but looks like ill have to wait till next year to do the 200 and shift points lined out. snow is here

Your car looks and runs good, but I don't see 10.0 being any kind of c6 nitrous record. Take it deep in the nines next year then talk about records.

what c6 ls2/ls3 has been faster. i know 1 local that went 9.98 is the only one thats been said on any thing i can find. he was on a 175 shot. the stock bottom end record is 9.5 for a ls2//3 car. be shooting for that if it holds together .

I mean when was the last edit on that list? What is the range of nitrous these guys are spraying? If that's the case, I'm about to take my Fbody to the top of that real quick, with a smaller cubed motor at that.

I guess I'm exempt since I don't have a vette... but I guess a lighter chassis does put the Vette's at a disadvantage?

Lol you need to get on that rpm transmission game dekan, you should feel one of there transmissions shift. My dad juss had his 2010 ls3 camaro auto swapped by them and its a whole different animal. I pulled my buddies fox body to the track at clay city the other weekend, he was the black one you got lined up against a few times.

There is a '10 vette that comes to the shop I work at. It has run 9.xx on a 200 shot. A6 with 5?00 converter, bolt-ons and a big cam. Car is a beast. It doesn't make big dyno #'s but it is way faster than you'd think. Can't post name or details on the car because the owner is secretive. The car is un-naturally fast.

Ya i think my trans is about on its last leg. i sprayed the car no tune for a while lol. Fuckit. i might cut my tunnel and go 4l80. but havent look at how much u have to cut.
i remember the car ur talkin about. i know Jared went 9.98 on a 175 shot he is the fastest one i know on the bottle with stock bottem end. gonna build my tank next week and after xmas let bluecat retune for 200 . get my shift points lined out and hope to run some 9.6.

my made good numbers on motor. 471/442 . then on a 150 shot 561/587. gonna try to do some vikiing shocks, zr1 or z06 rear sway bar , like to find a 2.73 gear or 3.15. with some weight reduction and go for the stock bottem end record. 9.5x if i remember right.
but want to be around 9.6 on a 200 before i try that. go with a 225 or so just to see if i can do it. need money saved for short block first lol. just in case

Yeah id say those shift points are what's hurting you the most. Id say once bluecat gets those lined out you'll gain a decent amount of time, he seems to like those six speed autos though. Id say you dont have to worry about screwing up your motor, there tuff.

ya when the car was just headers only. i would put my skinnies on the front and the front factory tires on the back cause the 2.56 sucks with stock converter and stock power. my stock back tires and my et streets are just over 26" and my 60' were 1.95-1.97 . never would spin at all on the street or track. so i started putting the 24.5" tires on to help and my 60' went to 1.85-1.89 . when he tuned the car i had the tire setup like that on it. which threw everything off. its still runs better then i thought it would. he was amazed how strong the car was. he was like if i didnt know better i would swear this is a bigger ci car. he said it took fuel like a 427 . but like i said it made awesome numbers on motor.

ran 10.8x@129 on motor. shifting at 5800-6000 rpm. should be up around 7000.
my camaro ls3 manual maded 461/423 with the exact same mods. just goes to show some cars r freaks

Wow I didnt notice those sixty foot times, heck you should go mid tens NA running it out another 1000rpm. Plus you have abunch of time to gain in the sixty foot area, that thing will be dang fast once its all lined out. Corvettes always amaze me. What nitrous kit you using, I haven't played attention.

yea, the guy at london told me at the end of the day . i was actually rolling like a few inches and setting the light then letting the brake go. car done a few 1.57 on motor. i knew if i could get a 1.4 60 9's would of been done. i was trying to hard lol. keep hurrying and not thinking.

You're gonna **** when you see how much a 4L80 swap is going to cost you. #1 reason I got rid of my A6 vette.
