Default Activation wiring

I have a wiring question. On my car I'm switching from using a window switch to a button on the steering wheel to control when nitrous comes on and goes off. My system is wired exactly as the diagram posted below, with the exception of I'm not using a F.P.S.S. the yellow wire from the window switch goes directly to the 85 post on the relay.

The steering wheel button has 2 wires. If I connect 1 of the wires from the button to the 85 post on the relay and ground the other wire, the solenoids should only work when it's at wide open throttle and the button is pushed. If the button isn't pushed or the W.O.T switch isn't activated the solenoids wont open. Is my thinking correct?

Yes, that should do the trick. If you want to be 100% sure just finger both at the same time (with system and car off) and listen for the solenoids to click.
