Default Window switch recommendation

What would you guys set the window switch at with a bolt on m6 ls1? I was thinking 3000-5800? Does that seem about right? I still have the stock 10 bolt so don't wanna spray off the line until I get going a little.. I also am trying to decide between a push button or a wide open throttle switch.. I'm thinking push button so if I'm losing a race I can catch back up

My car is a stalled a4 and it was set at 3000-5800. I've been told it's best to set it off a couple hundred rpm below what ever rpm you shift at, that way you don't spray through the shifts. I just switched from a WOT and window switch to WOT and push button I wanted more control over when it came on and off.

Awesome thanks, is it even possible to have a window switch and a button wired up? I need to at least have a window switch for sure because I'm a m6

Yes you could do a button in line with WOT and window switch. You would have to wire the button between the relay and the window switch. That way the only time the solenoid would open is when the WOT and window switch are activated and the button is pushed. If any of the 3 are not activated the solenoids wont open.

Yep. That is safe to set it up that way. You could also run all three in conjunction like mentioned above. A window switch is a good thing to have either way, well worth the money.
