Default How much to fill a bottle nowadays?

I just got my bottle filled today. Cost me $63 for a 10lb bottle. Last time I had one filled was about 5 years ago and it was $35. Has it went up that much or did I get ripped?

The price has gone up a lot. 3 years ago my 63 lb bottle was around $130. Now it's about $240.

If you use a lot of nitrous, do yourself a favor and fill your own bottles. You don't need a filling station. The only thing required is a mother bottle and freezer. I've been doing this for years and have saved a ton of money doing so. I think I pay somewhere right under $2.00/lb. You should be able to set up an account at a local welding shop for the bottle under an exchange program.

I buy 400-800 lbs of nitrous a month depending on the time of year. Our price has doubled twice in the past 3 years and we are lucky to get 35 lbs out of the claimed #56 mother bottles.

If you can do it yourself, you can save yourself alot of money. We charge 4.50 around here, but the prices have definitely gone up from what some of you are used to.
