Default DD with number 7 plugs? Stock motor.

Any of you guys daily drive a bolt on only car with number 7 plugs? I'm running a 200 shot that's why they are in there. just wondering if I can throw some more timing in it when I'm not planning on racing and drive with them left in. I do all my own tuning so that's not a big deal.

How are you pulling timing?

Gotcha! If you are pulling timing on the nitrous (and everything is good) then you can definitely add some back when not on the bottle. Just make sure not to add too much, check for detonation, check plugs, etc...

That's what I was thinking. Thanks.

I was just mainly worried that it's to cold of a plug to run with the stock longblock and that I would fowl them real quick. I was thinking I could throw as much timing at it as possible to compensate

I run the BR7 and they are fine on N/A (see sig)
I personally am afraid to spray more than 150 on SBE or spin it past 6700 SBE

Are you still stock compression?

I don't mind the 200 shot, works pretty well for me. I definitely agree not spinning them to high though. I'm still only spinning this one to 6200 on the spray.

Mainly the stock rod bolts. That goes for spray and na. I have done the replacement arp 2000 rod bolts on different cars and spun them to 7k regularly though. No problems.

No problem running those plugs for DD duty or running around N/A.

Thanks,
Garrett

I do. They don't stay quite as clean as the projected tip plugs, but as long as the tune is clean, they do great.

That's good to hear. The older I get, the lazier I am. Used to swap them out every weekend, but I'm sick of that. Lol.

Working on the tune now, I drive a hundred miles a day so I have plenty of time to get the tune completely dialed in.

Yep heads only milled .015 on p&p 241's. Shift points @ 6600 spraying through the shifts.

You will be perfectly fine dailing a 7 plug.

Yea, seems like it. I've been out playing around and already have it pretty close.
