Default NX Proton Kit wiring question

Ok I got everything just about hooked up on the kit. My question is....on the instructions it shows the relay wiring with white/green/black/red wires, BUT on the actual relay from the kit, it has an additional blue wire. Where does that blue wire go?

I was assuming since it wasn't being used I would ground it, but once I touched a ground connection, a small spark happened. So I tested the blue wire and it was hot (live wire)? Would I hook it up to a positive connection or just bundle/tape it up and not use it at all?

Also, I have my arming switch near my center console, and I have the 12v/ground/WOT wires all connected right. But when I flip the switch the red light doesn't light up? I tested the ground and 12v and everything is getting the right connection. My brothers switch did the same thing on his kit, is this a bad batch of arming switch? He changed his to one from AutoZone and it lit right up after switching it.

Thanks for any input!!

You don't have to worry about using the blue wire on the relay. That wire is used for applications with a trans-brake. Also sometimes those lights go out in the switches for no reason but still work as far as activation etc... If you PM me your address i'll get a new switch out headed your way.

Dang I just seen this lol. Yeah the light doesn't work, but the switch still activates. Do these switches do that a lot?

It's not common but like with any electrical item they can go out randomly.

PS: Offer still stands if you PM your shipping info I'll get a new switch headed your way.
