that motor should not have a problem with a 200 maybe even a 250. this is not too hard on a big block. it is kind of like a 150 on a small block. eather way i dont think there is many people that have any experience with that motor. i have worked on plenty of them under warrenty and i am not too sure if the intake can work with a big wet shot. it might puddle up to much. also that allison tranny is going to slow you down quite a bit if you what to run a LS1 camaro. although, that 8.1 sure has plenty of punch in it. there not too common since most people get the duramax or 6.0L, but the 8.1 sure huals some *** for a heavy *** truck. good luck. i would like to see you do it. would be awsome.

I have allot experience in this department. I would not recommend a dry kit it's too inconsistent and the TQ management will play all kinds of games on you. Mine would run any were from 15.30 to 14.40 depending what it felt like. I used a NX wet kit single nozzle right at the TB worked great. Don't go over a 200hp the fuel pump barely kept up with it . You should be good for low 13's with your setup.

It was a used kit for a mustang you can use a GM generic single nozzle kit. The fuel jets are the only different because GM uses higher presser. The stock pump will be fine. I do recommend to put a fuel presser gauge on it to make sure the pump keeps up. You will see the presser drop at first but should *** right back up. Let me know how it goes there's not too many of 8.1 guys around and I'm glad to see someone else racing an 8.1 and bust-en on some big headed diesel owners. LOL

I know that would be to cool. I am planning on hiding to whole system as much as I can, for stealth. That way I pop the hood, looking like stock. Just worry about what can go wrong. I very new to nitrous.
