How Hard Can You Spray A Stock Crank.
I have a 98 or 99 LS1. It's got JE Pistons and Eagle rods with ARP 2000 bolts and ProComp studs in the bottom. I sprayed it with a 225 shot yesterday and it ate that stuff up like crack. Cam's an LG G5X3 with a Victor Jr and Demon 850, sparked with an MSD. Initial timing is at 35 then backs off 7 on the juice for a total of 28 on spray.
This thing took off like a beast yesterday. Never felt it pull so hard off the dig. 6,700 rpm @ 92 mph in an 1/8 mile... on the water!
Anyone ever spray a similar setup with a stock crank and how big a shot? I got twin turbos running E85 on the way, but that's whole nuther expensive and slow moving story. Gna keep running nitrous for the time being, at least a few more weeks till it gets too cold to boat in Texas.

I cant speak for the rest of the components, the quality of the labor, or the procomp studs but the stock crank physically has held up to loads of abuse and nitrous shots. a Nitrous Outlet powered 5.3 is running a 400 dry on a stock shortblock.
