Default New personal best 6:26 @ 112

Had my best pass on nitrous last night, 6:26 @ 112 (150 shot). I run 670's 6:80 range normally on this motor. I hurt my 428 so we put in my old trusty 6.0. I think I have more left in it. Yes it looks stock, thats the way we wanted it. No visible gauges, and using 10 hole wheels. Surprises a lot of people.

thanks guys, I use a mix of your stuff, NX standalone for efi, works awesome as i run race gas in it and helps for a safer tune. Nitrous outlet 92mm dual stage plate system. 2 NOS bottles to a Y, Nitrous Outlet ash tray panel. I also have my linelock button on that panel where the purge should be. Hand held switch for the 1st stage and what looks like a dimmer switch on the foot rest on the left side for the second stage. Nitrous pressure gauge and fuel pressure gauge in glove box. Lights come on when glove box door is open.

my gauges are twisted so at a quick glance I know they should be at the 3 oclock position.

Wow! Fixed my shift points and rev limit and picked up
6:07 @ 112 mph with a 1:35 60'. I think I'm done pushing the limits on this motor. It's a stock bottom end 6.0. My nitrous and tune is on the edge for the motor. Gotta push it to go fast sometimes. So I'm going to back off and decide what direction I want to go in. Fixing the 428 now is making me rethink it as the 6.0 does so well.

This is why you need to wear good glasses!! Last week My second stage I thought I pilled it for 100 and actually had it for 150 52 and 62 pill look to much alike lol. But that pass I did go a 6:18. I'm amazed how good these motors run. Didnt even realize I had a hiccup driving home. Had 2 plugs like that and a 3rd partial. My 6:07 pass tune is right on.

I missed the 6.07 pass. Nice. I keep a spare set of reading glasses in my tool box just for that reason. Holler at me next time your forget yours. It is hell getting old. LOL

What fuel were you running?
