Default How much Nitrous?

So I'll be setting up a system soon on a 02 T/A and was wondering what would be better..a 150ish or maybe more? Stock internals headers and exhaust and will be redoing intake as well about the same time. It won't be used often maybe a few (3-5) times a month. and we are thinking about a hidden System as well from Nitrous Outlet.

With the stock fuel system I wouldn't recommend going over 150HP. Above that, your fuel system will have a hard time keeping up which would lead to a lean condition. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be more than happy to help you out!

I agree with Nitrous Outlet. No more than 150, but start out in baby steps and read the plugs and tune off of what the plugs tell you.

Keep a eye on fuel pressure during a nitrous pull especially if your on stock fuel pump. The more power you make on motor the more fuel it needs so that means that's leaving less left over to supply the nitrous. The next think to keep in mind is these cars are getting some years on them and not all of the fuel systems are even flowing 100% of there original volume.

Not to hijack but Im trying to avoid creating another thread-

So over the past 6 months I've been piecing together the parts to do a nitrous kit safe and right for my 98 M6 Z28. Bottle heater, NOS mini, remote opener and a trunk mount, etc. I also bought a used NX wet kit. I recently got my car back from PCM after getting some of Tony Mamo's MMS 220 heads and a more conservative 226/230 installed. THe car made 440rwhp. If I only want to manage a 75-100 shot, is it a must to upgrade the fuel pump? I've heard vendors quote that the stock fuel system is good to 450rwhp which I'm already very close to.

With your mods and some nitrous you'll need more than the stock pump

Looks like I've got to invest in a Racetronix and a hotwire then. Its not the cost of that that bothers me. Its finding someone with the knowhow to do the trapdoor mod to avoid dropping the tank.

I've done the trap door method, and it is not hard at all. Just take your time and follow instructions. I kid you not, it is very easy to do

theres tons of diagrams online on how to do it....but 99 and up are easy to drop the tank because the filler neck disconnects
