300hp shot,use BR7EF or B8EFS
I am trying to see what everyone is using on a 300 shot its a .099 nitrous jet, have been using a .083 jet 225 shot with BR7EF's gapped at .030,19 degrees of timing. Also my other car has a .093 jet a 275hp shot and I'm using BR7EF at .030,16 degrees of timing. What are you guys running Thanks

I would start with the NGK B9EFS gapped at .026 and see how they look after a pull- if they aren't showing any heat try a B8EFS. I would also pull a little more timing to be on the safe side- you can always add it back in if you need to.

Thanks for the input guys.On this car and setup I'm running 93 octane pump gas,and a standalone with Sunoco 114 octane.Your saying pull more timing I'm running 28 degrees on motor tune do u think 12 degrees is enough to pull for a 300 hit 99 jet ? That would be 16 total timing
On my Chevelle that I have this 93 jet in I'm running 93 octane pump gas 16 degrees of total timing and BR7EF's at .030. Crazy huh

I used a -9 gapped .028" pulling 14 degrees from initial. That's what mine liked best, but every motor is different. I ran 34 initial with 110 thru motor and 120 in the stand alone.

Heres an old 8 on 250 and 18 timing and 110 fuel in stand alone. Had 2 others like that. Cleaned it up now. Amazing nothing else happened lol.

My recommendation was based on using VP C16 fuel.
I don't really understand or see the point in using pump gas then some race fuel in a standalone.
I would want the added insurance to know all fuel going in the motor is sufficient while spraying.
Also seems like adding more pieces to the puzzle that can not work as intended with bad results.
Just my $0.02
