Default Where did you put your bottle?

I'm thinking of doing a 100 shot in my nearly stock TA and was wondering where you guys put your bottle?

I don't really want to put it where the t-tops go in the trunk.

Is there another alternative?

Thanks!

mine is mounted in the spare tire area. i made some brackets to old it up, i borrowed the design from one of the members of this board (hope he doesn't mind ). works great, i love it. when you put the plastic cover on, you cannot see anything at all.

ps pay to attention to all the wiring in that pic, i was test-fitting at the time, wires have all been cleaned up after that.

Any more pics? I'd like to put mine there but I'm not sure how to get the right angle on the bottle.

The taller bracket goes toward the front of the bottle.

Just using the brackets sold by NX,NOS,etc. will get you close enough to the required angle. I believe the recommended angle is 15*.

i'm kinda tall (6'4") so i took the driver's side rear seat out and mounted the bottle there. no one can sit behind me anyways while i drive so that seat was useless. there is a piece of metal that kicks up in the perfect spot to mount the front clamp to to give it the right angle. it worked out perfectly!!! but if you value your rear seat then i guess that's not an option.

good luck

I had to modify the NOS brackets to get enough angle in the bottle.
