I've had both, I think people choose what's available for the application, and then hp is hp with either kit. spray 200 is 200hp nozzle or plate. by time you buy all the correct corresponding parts I don't know how much cheaper it would be. Nozzle might be cheaper as its more generic to applications. The better nozzles do cost a little more as they get better distribution and plume.

For anything under 175hp shot the nozzle should be fine for you. We have numerous customers that have great results using both setups. It really will boil down to personal preference and the look your wanting to achieve.

A NX Shark nozzle worked great for me on a 150. Car made right at 150 rwhp with their out of the box jetting.

Like posted above, I had my single nozzle jetted at 150 then switched to a plate and it was not noticeable.

Save the cash go with the nozzle

I appreciate all the feedback, Ive had a plate for 150 shot but to me the nozzle kits look more where you can hide them and i want to got 200 or 250 shot but im wanting to go dual nozzle kit but ill run a single until i upgrade the main an buy the Y for the dual nozzle to work. That way i can have both jetted for 100 or 150 or if i want to push my luck both 200 as i seen the nozzle kits go up to 200 an thats all ive seen so far. Ive just always heard that the plate kit gives a better disturbution of nitrous an fuel mix where the nozzle dont thats why i never got one. But i was curious of how well they worked with people that owned them. I am a stock bottom end LS1 an I have a good tuner so im not to afraid to push my luck. Seeing that i have a 408ci in the floor. For the most part i seen the nozzle kits are 200 bucks cheaper if they perform like what ive read Ive just never messed with a nozzle setup so im baby stepping till i learned more.

I see more bank to bank distribution issues with plates than with a nozzle mounted in front of the tb. I do like the clean easy install of a plate and it's noids though. We have a plate car on the dyno with a ls6 intake that has 1.3 difference from side to side on a 100 shot. That's terriable.

I know I've seen problems with distribution at the higher hp levels and depending on what plate also. Some atomize better then others.

Where do you mount the nozzle most of the time in the lid. I want it hidden an clean all my electronics are going in the glove box and all trying to make it clean an you just cant hide a plate. Im getting a nozzle kit i looked around for kits an i see that NX has the best kit for a single nozzle kit from what ive read and seen also ther jetting is higher on HP than the rest.

Do speed density and put the nozzle where the lid mates to the inlet tube at 6 of clock.

IM already on speed density. I see where some went and alot are there some are tapped into the trottle body itself.
