Default Z06 on Direct port. Timing Retard questions

I have a built LS7 that has diamond pistons, heads, cam, MSD intake with NX direct port spraying a 200 shot.. I am running the maximizer 4 and a LNC2000.. The car HP was low on the dyno, made 160 rwhp from the 200 shot. We were very conservitive on timing. As of the last pull we had 11* being pulled by the LNC2000. I am running c16 fuel in a stand alone cell for the nitrous. I would think I should have picked up a bit more off a 200 shot. Should I do some pulls on street and add a degree and check plugs after every pull? Thanks in advance.

From what I gather, you're not pulling spark plugs on the dyno, correct? What spark plugs are you running? What was the Air/Fuel ratio on the dyno? What was your initial timing you pulled the 11 from?

No we did not. It was a super late night on the dyno due to issues with another vehicle. We got the NA tune done and adjusted timing and afr for nitrous on a few dyno pulls and called it a night. The 160 hp seems low off a 200 shot. I think there is 24* advanced on NA tune and I'm pulling 11* with the LNC2000.

What was the air/fuel ratio on that pull?

and you're on a B8EFS spark plug or?

It sounds like its under-timed. Reading spark plugs or taking it to the track will be your best bet on getting the timing right.

I would consider going with the 8. With your combo, the 7 is probably a little on the hot side. If you start to lean on it with timing, the 7's might not be able to handle the heat. That will make the plug glow and lead to pre-ignition.

Good luck! Go out there and make a pass, put a degree of timing into it and if it picks up mph, it needed timing. Repeat until it stops picking up mph then back it off a degree. Take plenty of plugs! Fresh set to find the hottest cylinder and then you can stick to checking that hole.
