Default Looking for advice, wiring MSD timing twister

I picked up a timing twister new in the box, so it's got everything with it. I'm just looking for some extra pointers on setting it up. This may not be the correct place to post but it's where I've found the most info on these boxes.

Just a little background on the car, I'm running a NO plate with the old NO progressive controller. So that's handling all my activation and window switch. I've seen a lot of guys prefer to pull power from the arming switch so they just set their box and never fool with it again until they change jets. My situation is that the car is right in the middle of several classes around here. So by pulling timing and running motor I can run some index classes, spraying will put me in a few others depending on my jetting. With that said I'm going to need the MSD to be functional all the time.

Are there any downsides to this?
Would I be asking too much of the MSD and cause a premature failure?
If anyone is still running one of these how did you set it up or how would you in my position?
