I just called ramchargers, since I am doing my nitrous now....white wire goes to the relay that controlls the solenoids...splice white wire in the wire (positive) coming from the nitrous/fuel solenoid relay BEFORE it goes out to any other wiring source (i.e. the solenoids)...right by the body of the relay...

Grey wire goes to the same relay, on the negative (ground) side in the same fashion....

I guess it supplies and takes away the ground/positive to the solenoids after the relay but before the actual wiring to the solenoids....

hope it works!

the white wire gets spliced into the positive lead on the soleniod relay. The gray wire grounds the solenoid relay and gets connected directly to the relay. The other connector plug plugs into the crankshaft position sensor located behind the starter. You may have to drop the starter and headers to install the plug.

oops., forgot about the crank trigger...I did that before hand and am just now installing the nitrous. Its easiest to just drop the starter, not hard at all.

How can you tell if it is pulling timing at WOT???
I am diong the install on mine and I am leery of just trusting it.

Once you start doing the programming you should get a warmer fuzzier feeling about the tuner. If you are worried just spray a small shot, set your delay and window switch. If the delay and window switch works, I would think that it's pulling timing properly. Or just run ATAP while running a big shot and look for KR. Because your computer is going to think it's still getting full timing. If it's properly pulling timing you shouldn't see any KR, if you do see KR, pull some more timing and re-ATAP.

All I can tell you is that it works.

From what I've read, it should be pulling timming whenever the unit is turned on.

It only pulls nitrous timing when the nitrous relay is energized. It can be programmed to pull & add timing for everyday driving too. Then you have to compensate for your timing on the spray by pulling more due to the fact that you added more initial timing to your NA tune.

Just remember when hooking this box up that your nitrous relay only grounds to the Timing Tuner and not the Timing Tuner and another ground. The power wire is the one that goes to more than one source.

Jamnut is correct,I did NOT think mine was working either because A-Tap was NOT showing the Timing being pulled out!So I disconected the fuel power and and with the bottle valve Turned OFF ,I set the RTD at 15 of timing to be pulled out,I turned on the n2o arming switch and let it Rip!It must be working ,man the thing was a pig,the I turned off the n2o arming switch and let it rip,my power was back.So my timing tuner must be working

So did I just fry mine???
I just hooked it up by splicing it into the ground instead of using it as the ground. When I hook it up AS the ground, it wont click the solenoids. What should I try next???

Nevermind...
I had it on the wire going directly from the relay to the solenoids. I switched it to the wire going to the switches and it works like a charm!

It's not really a tricky hookup, the instructions just aren't super clear. But it's stll the coolest toy in the box in my car right now. Until I get the next toy put in.
