664 rwhp from Stock Shortblock LS1, TEA stage I heads, dual stage
Got done tuning the dual stage dry/wet at Rev Extreme here in Tampa earlier today. Made 664 rwhp and 620 something tq. We made an adjustment that would have made the TQ equal to the HP but we ran out of time to test it.
Would have attempted more but we were at the limits of the -4 line.
Car dynoed 398 rwhp or so on the nitrous plugs and race gas all motor. So it came out to an honest 266 rwhp gain.
Not bad for a stock shortblock.
Congrats to Dan (JUICED SS 262)

That's some impressive power. I have a video of his car with a less powerful setup running another car from 40mph to 140mph. Cant wait to hear about how it runs after this.

Hey, I have that video too ! The better one is the Cobra killing, that generated so much heat on the SVT board. That was a lot of fun.
Thanks Al, for posting and also for ALL your help in putting this together. I am real curious to know what the most a stock bottom end has handled before, I figure we are pretty close to that magical #.
Revextreme in Tampa was the best experience ever in a dyno tune session. Without all the tuning Jeremy Formato has provided, the block would be in pieces, the young man amazes me more each time we are able to pull bigger and bigger #'s out of this car. The last dyno high was 567/592, and that seemed pretty amazing at the time.
If anyone wants to step up to the plate, with a lot of Juice, bring your car to Revextreme and have it tuned by Jeremy, nuff said.
