Recently installed Ms4 cam! Can i run a 50 shot?
i have a 2002 z28 6spd with a ms4 cam, I already have a nitrous outlet plate kit installed but im fearful of spraying after my cam install and tune. Can i shoot atleast a 50 shot on the stock pump with this cam without leaning out?

The stock fuel pump is good to around 425-450rwhp. there are some who say they have gotten more out of them, but I think that's pushing it, imo.
There's also the question of timing. Too much timing seems to be the thing you really want to be cautious at.
Do you know where it's at?
That's a fairly good size cam your running, and unless your tuner knew you were planning on spraying the car, he probably put an aggressive tune into it.
I think you should check on that before spraying even a 50 shot.

I agree a pump upgrade is a good idea, and you need to speak with your tuner on where he set the timing at.

We would recommend going with an aftermarket hi flow pump (walbro, racetronix) and using a hot wire kit to make sure you have adequate fuel supply for your nitrous system. We have found the stock fuel pump wiring not suitable to carry the proper voltage to the pump and causing the fuel pump to not operate at full working capabilities. -Houston
