I think I'm maxing out my 255 with hot wire kit with my 200 shot spikes 15 afr on the hit then levels out to 13.6 with a 39 fuel jet 4 sizes bigger than nitrous outlets recommend 35f jet I don't know if to just keep upping the jet or upgrade my fuel system what are you guys running with big shots for fuel setups was thinking of dumping the tank and running an a1000

Seems like the first thing id do but still gotta ask...have you Logged fuel pressure and see if it's falling off with spray? Or even put a gauge to it and watched?

Also a little more info on the setup would help with suggestions.

If pressure is steady and injector duty cycle is fine, there shouldn't be any reason to change pumps

I wouldnt run over 175 off the rail.

Grab a 1gal RCI cell + FPR, throw a pump in or on it, and then have a cheap dedicated fuel system for C16.

I'm using this setup for two kits, 350-400hp of spray, with no fuel issues.

I run a 42 fuel jet off the rail at 58 psi on a 200. In the 12s for afr. I think your fuel pill is a little small.

I regularly spray 250 off a Aeromotive Stealth 340 in tank and hot wire kit. Fuel was jetted up to 45 though.

I was running the jets per nitrous outlet plate sence it's what I have they have a 35f listed for a 200 way too lean then I put a 39 and still in the high 13s afr so I will try a 42 44 jet and see what it looks like haven't had a chance to check the pressure yet that's gonna be fist on my list

What was the afr with the 45 jet on that 250?
How did you run the 340 pump they say the stock regulator can't control it
Did you make it a return style system with a regulator? Stock size lines?
Also I have a 4an from rail to noid but from noid to plate it's a 3an does that need to be upgraded like I did with my nitrous line? Thanks in advance

To compare apples to apples mine make 457 NA at 6750 through a Turbo 400, PTC 4100 stall converter 4.10 8.8 rear. Made 665 when tuned on a 200 shot. AFR only got into the 12's 1 time and it was 45 degrees out. Usually hovered in the 11.5 to 11.7 range. Stock lines, stock regulator. I just cut a trap door in the trunk, pulled the fuel pump cage and put the new pump in place of the old one. I ran that car in True Street events where we had to make 30-40 mile cruise before the 1st round and never had any problems. This was in 100 degree TX heat too. I had 1 pump go bad the first week I installed it and the replacement has had zero problems in 100 plus runs at the track and multiple street cruises. THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE, obviously- your mileage may vary.

To add... Mine were all 1/8 mile runs, with a progressive controller bringing the Nitrous in from 70 to 100 percent in under 1 second.

Also mines a 2000 Camaro with LQ9 based setup.

I also run the stealth 340 but use a Corvette fuel filter near the tank. It self regulates to 58 psi.

I think the dyno I dynoed at mite be messed up or reads really low because my car has been 11.00@121 and 9.90s@135 on the 200 shot I never checked the plugs or had a wide band came to notice the lean conditions on the dyno guy says he's surprised I hadn't blown it up

Is your car full weight? Those numbers are way low for your ET / MPH.

one of the safer ways to do it, I also use a stand alone.

Your changing pills without knowing fuel pressure?

You're going to have to get a wideband at the least, and a fuel pressure gauge would be nice too.

I run a 26 fuel jet on my NO plate with a 78 nitrous. That is with a stand alone with c16 and the fuel pressure set at 55psi

Whats you afr with the 26jet and the 78? I think my main issue is gonna be my fuel system is at its limits I'm gonna try to build my own standalone
