Default Fuel question

I am on a walbro 255 no hotwire kit. Car is a 1998 camaro z28 with a 382ci stroker. Car makes 470/460 na. I want to spray a 100 shot pulling fuel from the rails. Once i pill the kit higher, i will upgrade to a standalone. Is my pump enough to handle a 100 shot?

only way to tell is to make a pass and see what it does. If it lean pops or pings get out of it and upgrade your pump. A hotwire is really needed to do it the right way. Aftermarket pumps need all the voltage they can get it. The stock power wire is really small. I usually make my own hotwire kit with a relay and 10gauge wire. I feed off the alternator and put the relay near the tank. I use the stock pump hot wire for the ign wire for the relay. Simple hotwire kit and works great! I have 2 255s running off 2 relays just like this without any issues.

anything over 5-550rwhp is pushing the limits of a 255 walbro. The TBSS in my sig, (which has a 255 from the factory) full bolt ons could only support a 150 shot from the rail. tried a 200 and it went crazy lean. I figured around 340rwhp without nitrous on it. so with spray that's around 500rwhp on a 150 shot. I just upgraded it to a AEM 340. havnt had a chance to spray it yet tho.
