It's not the camshaft I'd worry about, it's the short-block. I ran a 225 HP dual-stage shot on the 231/237, and it responded excellent. Your stock pistons and rods will be the weak link. I bent a rod with the dual-stage.

Like Trevor said, you should see a BIG jump in torque and horsepower with that camshaft on nitrous. Just be sure you've got plenty of Octane and a safe tune!

Would the 231/237 cam and a 100 dry shot be okay on a stock bottom end LS1?

it should be fine. like stated above, the camshaft isnt the weakest link. what you really need to as is "is a 100 dry shot okay on a stock bottom end LS1", which the answer to that is yes. FYI: i run a 150 wet shot on a stock bottom end with absolutely no problems

I sprayed a 150 all the time on my vette all the time with that cam and never had any issues whatsoever

do you need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump for a 100 shot with that cam?
