Default What ring gap for 6.0 SBE???

Building a 6.0 SBE with Total Seal rings,gonna probably spray 300-350.What are y'all gapping the rings at?

Many Manufacturers recommend 0.007" of gap per inch of bore for the top ring and 0.004 larger for the second.

for you, that would be .028 top and 0.032 bottom.

Some will say that's too large, some will say too small. My opinion is "gap em too tight, everybody will know...gap em too loose and only you will know"

My advice is if you are going to use aftermarket rings, just ask the manufacturer, if you're using stock rings, 0.007 should be pretty good...for a shot as large as yours, you could move up to 0.0075 for some extra breathing room

I've heard different opinions and I have also heard that some have gone to a tighter gap on the top and looser on the second.I'm gonna call Total Seal and see what they say.
