Need opinion on N2O and cam, etc
I have a TNT F2 kit and plan to shoot a 100 shot but the guy that is doing my install says he hates TNT and knows people who have blown motors because of selenoid freeze up problems
I plan to install a TR 220 with springs, Ti retainers and Hardened rods with this setup. Is this a good middle of the road cam for every day if I am only juicing at the track?
Now I have a chance to get a NOS 5177 kit in trade for my cam package that has not been installed. I am wondering if now is the time to switch my plan so that I can get the NOS kit which my installation tech told me to get.
What do you think? and why

I just got that cam. I like it and havent even tuned it yet.
Everytime you start the car you'll be using the 220 cam, how often are you going to be using the nitrous? Hell no, keep the cam. If concerned about the solenoid then replace it.

FYI- almost every brand of kit uses solenoids from the same place. TNT users complain because they're kits are underrated.. It's not uncommon to see a TNT 150 kit put down 170rwhp.
A 5177 kit is worth about $300 used. Your cam package is worth a lot more.
