Default two staging it how to

hey guys
whats the best way to activate a two stage n2o kit using a t-braked th-400 tranz? Being at full throttle staged with brake engaged i dont want the juice to flow until i release the brake, shuting of the 1st stage and activating the 2nd while in second and third gear but also incorperating the full throttle switch so when i lift of both stages stop. I hope I make sense here.
thanks

So, you want stage one only in first, then u want stage 2 only after u get out of first. Correct?

yes thats correct. I thought about using a relay with the first stage activation and t-brake to send power to the n2o relay, but not sure if the relay used for the t-brake will actually slow down the release time for the brake. Now the second stage I dont want activated by a button but a switch or ?but stays on through second and third gear until I let of the accelerator. Any ideas? I have a few electrical dig. that I drew up but I know Im missing something somewhere.
p.s. good luck on your PPL, unfortunatly for me I cant spend $190 hr. for a c150, its obsurde over here.

OK, I think I can help u out. The window switch I use has a first gear lockout. It wont let the N20 turn on untill u have shifted into second. That is what u want for your second stage. For the first stage, I can reprogram the software on one of the window switches to only work for first gear then not work after the shift. Sound interested?

p.s. that is a lot for for a c150/c152. Local FBO over here has 2 c152's that rent for $57/hr wet, and a 172 for $75/hr wet. Anoter one that is about 20 to 30 min away has an 01 and 02 C172 and a couple 00 and up warriors that rent for $110/hr wet. They still smell like new leather when u open the door(s).

If BMN, if jester1 isn't I am.

Right now I have a normal MSD window, hooked through my 2-step, all tied into my transbrake. I launch off the 2-step/transbrake at 4500. 150 shot right out of the hole. This has netted a best of 10.56, 125+, with a 1.42 60'.

Now onward and upward. I would love to do either another 50 or 100 shot - or 200 in 2nd and 250 in 3rd. Is that possible???

Oh yeah, I got just what u need then. Check out the link in my sig. You should be able to find all you might need to know about the window switch. I have a FAQ page too, but you seem to already know the hows and why's of window switches. If you still have more ?'s just PM me and I will get rite back to ya.

BMN very interesting. I can see possibilities. If I am running 150 shot out of the hole, using a "normal" window switch, and than add another 50 shot via your system in 2nd, that may work - right?

Exactly. It was designed for bigger shots on cars with street tires and second stages on a 2-stage setup.
