Default Relay necessary for dynotune purge valve?

I have dynotune purge valve and was wondering If I need to wire up a relay for that circuit...Ill be using Jimmy Jams ashtray switches....TIA

I dont see a need for a relay, just make sure you add an inline fuse. A buddy of mine fried his whole system B/C he didnt have an fuse in place. The wires melted on his purge, They were also touching the wires to the solenoids which also fried those.

I like relays alot. they protect your switches. They are worth the time it takes to wire them in.

Yea, I agree, you don't want your full amperage running through your switch, thus the benifit of a relay-safety.
