Default N2O & Automatic transmissions.

OK for you guy's running the juice on cars with an automatic....

How many rpms do you find the flash stall goes up on the juice as opposed to a normally aspirated pass?

The people I have talked to say it goes up about 400 rpm is that right?
So like from 3800 stall NA to 4200 on N2O ?

Let me know, trying to pick out a new converter

Say with like a 3500# car, 3.73, 4L60E and a 100 to 200 hp shot at the most.
NA=430 rwhp

Thanks.

Id go with a TP3800 to 4000 RPM converter from Yank.....They hit on the juice!

He tries to talk folks into the SS line but to me they are night and day difference from his proven TP series line of verters.

I have a PT4000 in my Camaro, haven't sprayed it yet, ut on the motor it hits very hard and is an actual 4000 converter...stalls on the brake until 4000 and then WHAM. I talked with the folks at Yank, and they steered me toward the Pro Thruster 4000 for my 382 with nitrous...can't wait till I can spray it with a 200 shot.

I appreciate the replies, But no one has answered the question?

How much does your flash go up in RPMs vs. an NA launch?

600 RPM on shift extension, never launched on bottle should be about the same (on 200 shot, probably get 400-500 on 150 shot).

Every converter will react different when the bottle is used. A tight 3800 will not raise as much as a loose 3800 will. I don't mean to avoid your question, but IMHO just call the converter co and give them your combo and what you want it to do. They will send you the correct converter.

i haven't sprayed on my tci ssf 4000, but the previous owner of the converter, Larry from speed inc., said it only flashed to 4300 on a 200 shot. and hit really hard

So I am reading between 300 and 500 RPM.

Sounds like a bit much, but I like it.

600 RPM on the shift extension? That seems excessive? Is that correct?
Is that with a 4L60E?

Please explain the difference between a tight 3800 stall VS. a loose 3800 stall?

Thanks
