Default Confused, hard starts & gas smell....

The past few times I have made some "test" nitrous passes at the "track", the car has felt fine. However, after I have shut the car off and walked away - I return 20-30 minutes later and the car acts like it's flooded and starts hard. Then I have a strong gas smell like a carbed car.

Mods are in my sig. I have a Racetronix P&P in tank pump kit, TR6's gapped at .037", and I'm running an NX Wet kit pilled for 100 HP. The nozzle is in the back of my MAF sensor and is aimed right at the TB... has a nice, straight shot.

On the dyno a few weeks ago my A/F was flat and stayed at 12:1 on the jug - around 13.0:1 N/A. I figured that A/F was plenty safe and the car would run good like that.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Check your fuel solenoid and see if it is stuck open.

Thanks, I'll check on that. My car ran flawlessly yesterday. I guess I just needed to actually use the damn kit more than once every 2-3 months.

Well what could be happening is that you may have got some bad gas causing the plunger in the solenoid may be sticking open a bit and leaking buy.I dought it but its worth looking at.I personaly have never had it happen to me but I guess its a posibility.
