Default can i use a 10 lb bottle heater on a 15lb bottle?

what is the disadvantage of using a NOS bottle heater thats said to be for a 10 lb NOS bottle on a 15lb NOS bottle. the 15lb bottle looks to tbe the same diameter just longer. is it just because theres less area it covers? but will it still perform well? please let me know thanks!

I think that all nitrous heaters are basically the same, I run 10# & 15# bottles & use the same heater.

Yeah, last I knew NOS only made 2 sizes. One for their 3-5lbs bottles and then for the 10-20lbs bottles. Mine works well without the thermostat but I'm thinking of adding a second one to help heat the bottle even quicker when I'm sitting in the staging lanes after a run.

I actually have a 2nd one that's on a cigarette lighter plug that I use together with my regular bottle heater to heat it up quickly or to get it warm on cold days. Works pretty good.

That's a good and simple solution. I was thinking of running power for the second relay off that 10 or 12 gauge wire for my original set up. I'm not so sure that single wire can support both of them though.
