Can i spray with out a window switch and be safe.
I dont have the funds at the current time. For a window switch. I have a t56 tranny car and want to know if i will be safe spraying 100 - 150 shot to it without a window switch. i will not be power shifting.

I don't think it would be very safe or smart, esspecially with an M6. If you hit the limiter you can do some major damage since the limiter cuts fuel at the injectors. Even not power shifting, a slick spot on the track or a broken drive shaft can put you all over the limiter real quick and it can cost you alot. Spend the extra $100 if you have it.
BTW: if you bog the car off the line and the system is armed you can have the potential for a backfire without the switch.

there are easily 3 things that can go wrong:
1. hit the rev limiter: no fuel, still adding N2O ... BOUM
2. mis-shift, overrev the baby, no fuel, still adding N2O ... BOUM
3. bog @ start, too low rpm while on N2O... no good (fuel-puddle)... blows intake/hood, etc.
If you gonna do it, don't sacrifice the engine or even the whole car over a few $

lots of people do it without problems. most have problems for solenoid problems. i've blown a motor from a solenoid lock up. The n20 noid stuck opoen at the end of the track. No safty device could of helped. maybe if I ran dual n20 noids but oh well, that's not a saftey device though.

I'm with these guys, do NOT run without a window switch, especially a 6-speed car. One bog, or one bang of the rev limiter (which cuts fuel), and BOOM.
Window switches are cheap and easy to install. I run an older Mallory unit myself. Set for 4200 lower, 6900 upper. I wouldn't set it below 3800-4000 on a 6-speed.

You ask this question and then you'll make another post of what happened with my car and nitrous kit. Simple as this don't spray without the proper safety stuff. I think its so funny when people try to cheat their way through things and then wonder why something messed up.
