I Wanna Spray!
With my all-stock 02 LS1 F-body:
what do I need to do/buy for a hidden nitrous system?
Whats a good reliable/powerful size?
Prices and all parts necessary or recommended would help me out alot, also any brand recommendations.
Thanks, ya junkies

I would recommend reading the FAQs on the top of the page first if you haven't already done that. Yhe best thing you can do is search and read as much as you can on the subject.

Wile_E nailed it on the head. Do as much research as you can on as many different parts, companies, and systems as you can find. Ask any question you can think of through out the process, there is a ton of knowledge on this site.
Just a thought on the hidden system subject. The first time you use it in a race everyone will know it, not to mention you probably won't be able to keep the grin off your face long enough to lie about having it on the car.

Using nitrous is not like using blowers or turbos, when it is activated the power comes in immediately. Even a something smaller like 75hp will still hit like a hammer to the forehead. On the LS1, 150hp is no problem at all and will feel like you just got rear ended . Also, if you are still running on the factory tires don't expect them to last near as long once you put the nitrous to 'em.

I could care less about them finding out I have nitrous after the bets have been made.
With a 150 shot in a street race, when do you hit it? Soon as you get into 2nd?

I have a kit with everything other than a window switch for sale in the for sale section, brand new, I would pick it up, you won't find a better deal.

Dry kits are the way to go for a hidden system. Nitrous Dave is the man to consult - he's one of the best sponsors on the board. Good Luck

I would have to agree with Cyipher. If the person never asked, I never told. I never raised my hood, but if they asked I would go ahead and tell them. If you lie about it and use it, like I said earlier it's pretty easy to tell, then you could have a problem on your hands. Who cares if they know, a power adder is a power adder is a power adder.

I dont intend to lie. If someone asked me what I had done I'd say: "Its mostly stock, look for yourself." Thats why i'd like a hidden kit. Of course if they ask if I got N2o, I guess there aint gonna be a race cause i'd tell them.
Of course you also get to be very selective with who you bet also to ensure if you have a problem you can handle it.

WS and others that's against it..This is not the fast and the furious. Don't race for money if you're worried about what's under the hood regardless if your competitor is lying or not. It's run what ya brung and hope you brought enough!! That's how us real streetracers do it. 02WS/6, tell your competitor(s) it will cost them $$ to look under your hood.
