I have an 05 GTO and was thinking of putting on a small dry shot.

It has an ls2 in it and the airbox on this car heats up like crazy (IATs of 130 are common in the staging lanes).

I was thinking about putting a really small dry shot on it just to get it up to normal timing and performance during the summer.

I'm not looking to make big power.

Does anyone have any suggestings for a 25-50hp dry shot setup?

I'm assuming the nozzel needs to face away from the MAF, but the maf and filter really close on this car. Is that a problem?

That's the general practice if your close, to point nozzle away, or at least angled away. There is a guy on this site who shoots a 300hp hit from a couple inches away, directly at maf, with no problems. I have four nozzles pointing at each other and turning 90*, with air flow, towards maf, and am only 3 inches away with all 3 and no problems. This freezing the maf is more folk lore than reality, unless your shotting a big shot to early, imo. Now I don't know if the GTO's are having issues, but remember reading something about the air box having some problem? Maybe a GTO guy can comment, or check out the GTO section.

Is there a particular reason you are choosing dry instead of wet??

I wanted to keep it simple and hidden. I don't even want the temptation to ever run more than a 50-75shot. There is no way to really tune the ls2 yet, but I figure a really small dry shot would be safe, simple, and cheap.
