Looking for 2 stage setup advice
I'm planning on running a 2 stage setup. I'm not sure how I want to set it up. I'm planning on 75 dry for first stage and 150 wet for the second stage. I'd also like to have it setup where I can run either stage or both stages. Not sure on window switches and wiring either. I was looking at the new fjo/nx 2 stage window switch. Can I use the same WOT and FPSS for both stages?

I have mine set-up to run either or both stages, but my wiring is for a dual MSD set-up. The main trick for dual stage is to spread the the torque out. Find your torque peak with first stage then right after 2nd stage comes in, you'll take the equal hp single stage guys on the top end. 383LQ4SS explains this torque split thing very well, maybe he'll see this post. The fjo NX switch is right on for your needs, however, I have no hands on experiance with it, one of the NX guys can set-up your wiring (NXRicky is good at wiring) needs if you choose this switch. Yes you can use the same fpss and wot for both stages, I do. Check out my web site in the pics about #34 and up for some insight on how I have my dual stage set-up. I used a home made first gear lock out to go with the MSDs. I have first stage coming on at 3500rpm at wot and 2ndstg lock-out, then in second gear 2nd stg comes on at 4600rpm at wot also, now both stages are moving the car once traction is had. I also have indicator lights to show when and what rpm each stage comes on, and a seperate toggle sw to arm second when wanted. There's more but this should get you started. Good luck and have fun.
