Default Fuel Pressure Safty Switch.

Is this a good Idea? I'm hearing mixed comments about them. I do have a racetronix pump and 36# injectors.

if you loose fuel and keep spraying NOS, well,...........BOOM! so, doesn't hurt. weigh the cost of the safety switch against the new motor.

Some like, some don't. I run one for the safety factor. The guys usually having problems don't have them adjusted correctly.

I would say definately run one. The majority of the negative comments about them are due to them being improperly adjusted. Anything that makes the system a little safer is good IMO.

Good idea. Use a Hobbs brand switch.

Yep, you can adjust for the pressure you want it to shut your system down. Some are to high from factory and cause problems from the get go.

This sounds like a good idea. Should both of them have the same setting. I have one now, and it's set at 50 psi. Should the one after the noid be set the same?

No The one after the noid should only need to be low pressure, lets say 3-5 psi. You do not want that line to see full pressure and then turn the nitrous noid on, that would give you a bog,or overly rich condition for a moment.

The FPSS is adjustable. On the topside of the switch there is a rubber plug. Removing this plug and you will expose a hex type screw. Tuning the screw clockwise will raise the set point. Counterclockwise will lower the set point. Normally there is no need to adjust these switches they come from the factory preset. WARNING: setting the FPSS to close to the operating fuel pressure of your system will cause the nitrous system to bounce, chatter or go on off really fast. And setting to far away will not do you much good.
Hope this helps
Ricky
