Is that the one where they install the NOS 5177dry kit? If so, I have link to the video in my web site.

got a whole whopping 42 rwhp with an 80 shot and 79 rwhp with 125 hp jetting! I can't wait to get rid of my NX kit and get me an Edelbrock kit!

Edelbrock has some nice stuff, and I am a fan, but apparently their nitrous kits could use some more R&D.

Yeah, it surprised me with how low the numbers were. Was nice to see they actually put some decent parts on(FAST intake, H/C) though.

Default h.p.t.v. ls-1 car sucks! haha

yea... well i don't think they put together a really good package altogether... they only got 368rwhp out of a h/c six speed car w/ a stock 10 bolt. my guess is they have low compression pistons in it becuase they're planning on putting a charger on it. but still... low numbers for what it is. we'll see when they put the boost to it. that n2o kit was pretty dissapointing.

That was my exact thoughts. Just wasn't gonna say it. With a h/c swap it should have easily made 400 or above to the wheels.

Sure would be nice just to know. My guess is it was a Crane H/C package since they were also using the Crane Handheld.

If memory service me correctly ( and usually it does lol) Edelcrock's stuff is the same as nos, exactly the same. Also I saw the install, I think is was aimed at the guy that does not have ls1 edit or HP tuners, or any of the other programable software. More for your first timer average install guy. Thats what I got out of it. And a few laughs, no way could would I ever say this is a 125 hp jets and only make ( a lot less I forgot the real number) and then seem happy about that crappy number. Lets face it companies that rate there kits at the fly wheel, are in some way misleading the customer. I mean who in the right mind is going to pull the engine out and take it to a engine dyno. And alot of people do not know how to do the conversions. Ok I vented sorry about that.

All they said was that the heads were "CNC Ported". I think it is cool that they have LS1 mods on TV & I enjoy watching them.... They also did a nitrous works wet kit on an ls1 not too long ago. Their 100 shot gave them 86 hp to the wheels.

yea... i think w2w sent the stock heads through a cnc machine, crane cam but i don't remember getting specs. it sounded like it had a small lump to it when they started it up. but we all know that just cause a cam's lumpy doesn't mean it makes power... point in case!

but yea, i love seeing ls-1 mods on t.v. that's like my wet dream
