track results with nx dp kit!!
First problem of the night came when I found out that my bottle heater wasn't working, but I tried to manage with out. I had two ten pound bottles that were full. First run, bottle pressure was at 1100 but dropped to 850-875 at the end, and I ran a 11.26 @123 w/ 1.75 60'. Second run I changed the bottle, lowered tire pressure to 10psi from 12psi, and opened the bottle to a 950 psi. Second run I ran 11.02 @123 with a 1.66 60', and bottle pressure dropped to just above 900. I am spraying a 200 shot, and the car was tuned at 1050psi. Last time I went to the track my bottles were warmer but, never more than a 1000psi and I trapped @126. Any ideas on how much hp I am losing going from 1050psi to 900psi? If I get my 60' down to a a 1.50, is there a possibility of going 10.50's @ 127-128-129?

Did you trap 126 with the 6 speed or the th400? How was the weather compared to the 126 run? I would say you are down 1.5-2 from the bottle pressure but not the 4-6 mph you are looking for unless you you get a way better DA.

Don't get defensive man, you asked a question and he gave you his opinion. BTW, his car is faster than yours, he runs low 10s.

If you can get your 60ft down to a low 1.5 you will probably run a 10.9 possibly a high 10.8. You'll get better times when the weather cools off, if the car stays consistant maybe a 10.7, not to bad.

The weather was actually alittle cooler, but I had probably a 12-15mph wind coming right at me. I gained 2.5mph in the 1/8th but lost 3mph in the 1/4

WIth 200 pills the car should be making over 600rhwp...Is it even doing that? I see its a LT1 car....What ar ethe specs of a zz409?

Also the weahter can have huge part in mph. The 60's ft, seem a little off. Are you hitting at the launch or waiting to turn the nitrous on. To get the car into the 10's that 60 foot has to come down.

You would also want to take a look at the convertor a 10in is pretty big. That will hurt your 60ft.And the cam is not the best choise for nitrous you want a split duration.
