TNT kit not working... sprays, but
the fuel solenoid only opens for a second then shuts. also, when it does spray, it's more of a stream, not a mist like I think it's supposed to be. I'm a nitrous newbie though, so I may be wrong.
any thoughts?? power for the solenoid is comming off the positve post by the relays and run through a relay controlled from inside.
I bought this kit used. could the soledoid be bad?

Do you have a bad ground or a short? That is what it sounds kind of like.
Can you be more specific on the wiring and also what you mean by its more of a stream than a mist? If you are talking about the fuel ONLY , it will come out like a stream. It requires the 1000PSI from the nitrous to mix with it in the nozzle to make it a "mist". If you are saying the nitrous/fuel mix is a stream then you have issues with your nitrous cause it is empty or not flowing.

ok, I have the fuel and N20 solenoids wired in parallel off a single relay. One side of each noid grounds to the frame and the other side is wired together and then to the relay for power.
I disconnected the N20 and the fuel works just fine. then I disconnected the fuel noid and the N20 comes on for a second and then shuts right back off. then when I connect them both together again, they both do it, so the problem is somewhere in the fuel... do I have something wrong in wiring?

TNT said it's probably a bad ground... I doublechecked and regrinded the ground point to eliminate it. still does it. I'm going to try and hook the noid directy to power and see if it stays open...

ok, that didn't fix it, but now I do have it fixed and tested on the street.
I have a lighted switch for the Wet Shot Arming and I had the wire hooked to the where the power is to go for the light. the relay it activated was only getting 3 volts. DVM's work wonders for troubleshooting lol.
