Dynotune bottle opener on NOS Hi-flow valve?

Dynotune bottle opener on NOS Hi-flow valve? Dynotunes site states that their bottle opener does not work on the NOS bottles with the hi-flow valve, yet I've seen people using them as such. What's the real story? I really like the looks of the opener but I have a NOS 5177 kit with the hi-flow valve.

We have heard that the black handle nos valve causes clearance issues. We have not tested one to see the real issue. If you have a black handle you have the super high flow valve! Blue works for sure...

Yep, I have the black handle. I would have no issue with doing some modifications to the bottle if it's a clearance problem with getting the opener on the handle.
