Default Timing ?? On Spray

My question is my i got a mail order tune from ls1 speed and told them that i ran a (75hp) shot of nitruos (wet). long tubes 0ff road y-pipe, 3:42 gears.

and they set the timming to 25* at wot will this be fine on a (75hp) shot or do you think the timing is to low? would it be fine for a (100hp) shot?

i'm just a little worried. i do have a rpm window switch set to come on at 3000 and off at 5800
the kit is a zex wet kit thanks for the help

You should be fine, that's pretty conservative. You should easily be able to bump it up to a 125 shot with that timing if you run 93 octane.

There are alot of factors and I'm not sure if Zex rates at the wheel or motor (more than likley the motor). You should see low 12s at over a 115mph pretty easily. I wouldn't be suprised if you dipped into the 11s.

****, 25 degrees is pretty conservative!! On my stock motor with a cam and stock heads (stock compression) on 93 octane I was running the stock 28 degrees of timing on a tnt 100 shot!

And right now with my 374 cube motor with almost 11.5:1 compression on 93 octane with a 100 shot I was running 24 - 25 degrees of timing, I just downed it to 22 degrees for the 150 and i'm thinkin i'll probably leave it there for the 200, just gotta talk with a few buddies and make sure that that's ok.

The Zex power ratings are at the motor not rear wheel.

Any way to retard the timing without ls1edit, hptuners etc.......

I'm thinking about a 100 shot or so, or is it not even nesscessary to retard it?
On the dyno my air fuel was arounf 13.0-13.1 with cam and bolt ons, stock tune
I 'd be using a wet kit

You got the mph to run a low 12, maybe even a high 11. Gotta work on that 60'.

This will pull -3 degrees only when nitrous is activated. PM Robert56 for details.
